| Employment | Community Health Educator Wanted YWCA Boston is seeking a top-notch, experienced Community Health Educator to enhance its mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. Specifically, the organization seeks to further its efforts to reduce health disparities among low-income women and girls of color, and to expand community-based programs to increase Boston’s civic engagement on race and ethnic relations. At a minimum, interested candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in related education, human services and/or healthcare fields, and three to five years of direct women’s community health education. Fluency in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole highly desired. Additionally, final candidates will need to: ably demonstrate ability and desire to work within community, institutional and corporate environments and produce specific evidence-based outcomes; possess superior written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated project management experience. Enthusiasm, positive sense of humor and can do attitude are required.
