Lesly Alvarado
Operations Manager
Lesly Alvarado joined YWCA Boston as its human resources manager in 2006, where she was instrumental in helping the organization shift its programmatic and operational focus.
In 2008, she was promoted to Operations Manager and currently manages a diversified portfolio including YWCA Boston’s human resources, Accounting, facilities management, information technology systems, translation services and overall operations support.
Prior to joining YWCA Boston, Lesly served as Human Resources Coordinator for Remy International. A graduate of the University of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, Lesly holds a master’s degree from Boston University.
An active member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) and the Latino Professional Network; Lesly has provided volunteer translation assistance for Revere Public Schools and has volunteered for international aid programs in the Dominican Republic.
