An innovative media literacy curriculum, Media Minds provides young people from 13-18 with the information they need to become critical consumers of media, and be aware of how media shapes self-esteem, body image and racial stereotypes.
Since it was established in 1996, Media Minds has partnered with the Boston Public Schools, WGBH, MIT and 21st Century Learning Centers. Numerous ongoing Media Minds clubs have been established at dozens of local YWCAs and other youth-serving organizations.
