Creating Systemic Change
YWCA Boston is systemically working for social, racial and gender equity. Our programs are designed to bring people togther across racial, gender, and social divides to increase access to better health, make neighborhoods safer for everyone and close the educational achievement gap. We serve more than 5,000 individuals each year through our health literacy, interracial dialogues, teen development and executive leadership programs. We work with women and men, adults and youth, communities, companies and non-profit collaborators.
We rely on the generousity of hundreds of volunteers to help implement our program. If you are an adult interested in volunteering, or participating in our public interracial dialogues programs please click here.
If you represent a public or private human service agency, health center, school or afterschool program and are interested in having our program experts provide programs to your clients, patients, or students, please click here.
